Guava Dessert

Guava Cream Cheese Ghost Bites

With Halloween just around the corner, I wanted to share a spooky dessert for all your Halloween festivities. As you all should know by now, I LOVE guava, so I had to incorporate it into this dessert. And what goes paired best with guava? You guessed it, CREAM CHEESE!! Thus, was born the cutest and spookiest dessert of all times, the guava cream cheese ghost bites!

How do you make this spooky guava dessert?

I wanted this dessert to be quick and easy so we can all enjoy Halloween. It honestly doesn’t take much. I used store bought puff pastry cups, which are made super quick in the oven. While those are puffing away, I melt the guava in the microwave and get my cream cheese frosting ready.

Guava Dessert

To make the cream cheese frosting, you combine cream cheese of course, with butter and powder sugar. You want to make it thick enough that it holds its design when you pipe it on the puff pastry cup.

Once the puff pastry cups are done in the oven, you are going to push the center down and fill it up with melted guava (about a teaspoon). After, you are going to pipe the guava on top. To give it the final touches, I like to use chocolate sprinkles to give the ghost some spooky eyes. If you don’t’ have any sprinkles, try pipping guava onto them to give them the eyes.
