Mango Margarita

For The Love of Mango Margarita

With Cinco de Mayo coming up I figured we all could use a delicious margarita recipe to celebrate. Also with the warmer weather to come, this is the perfect recipe for those hot summer days.

Is it easy to make?

This mango margarita is super easy to make! The base of the drink is a mango nectar, which can be found at any local grocery store. If you can’t find it click here to buy it on amazon. The first thing you do is, you make your cayenne pepper and sugar rim, which adds the perfect sweet and spicy touch to the drink with every sip. You do this by mixing cayenne pepper and sugar on a plate. Then wet the rim with lime juice by either dipping in fresh lime juice, or rubbing a lime wedge around the rim. You then combine all the ingredients into a shaker. Shake it up and pour it into a cup over ice!

Can I make this recipe into a frozen mango margarita?

If you want to make it into a frozen margarita, add about a cup of ice into a blender with the rest of the ingredients and pulse. If you want it to have a thicker consistency, keep adding ice until you get the consistency that is desired.
