I love mojitos! Like utterly obsessed with them. During our wedding, I asked only one request from our bartender, that I always had a full glass of mojito in my hand. It was actually the only request that my wife and I had for the venue. If they didn’t make a mojito, we would go to the next one. So moving back to South Florida, my mojito intake has obviously doubled, and with this Florida heat all year long, I have decided to make some mojito popsicles out of them!
Can you add different flavors to the mix?
Yes! I added strawberries to some of these since my wife and I love strawberries and they taste amazing! Feel free to add mango, passionfruit, maybe even some guava nectar to the mix and try them out for yourself!
How long should I freeze them for?
I suggest freezing them for as long as possible, but for at least 6 hours. I typically make them really quick the night before, and then freeze them overnight or until I am ready to eat them.
How do I take them out of the popsicle mold?
Ok, don’t laugh, but I had to google this one when I first made popsicles. Everytime the stick would come out and the frozen goods would just stay in the mold. Well like everything else in the world, google had the answer.
When you are ready to eat your popsicle, run the mold under warm/hot water to slightly melt it. After, flip the popsicle mold, and gently pull the popsicle out.
Where can I find popsicle molds?
So the one I use, we got them from ikea for a very affordable price. Here is the link!
