Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter cold
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 2 cups of brown sugar
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of cake flour
  • 3 cups of all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp of baking powder
  • 2 tsp of baking soda
  • 2 cups of pretzels
  • 12 oz of chocolate morsels

Instructions

  • In one bowl, combine your cold butter, white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. In another, combine your cake flour, all purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Using a mixer, mix the wet ingredients first, then slowly add your dry ingredients. (You will notice that the mixture becomes thick and forms a cookie dough consistency once everything is incorporated. If you don’t have a stand mixer, you may have to mix it by hand towards the end.)
  • Measure out your pretzels and slightly crush them as you add them to your mix. Add your chocolate morsels to the mix and fold. Don’t beat!
  • Using a LARGE cookie dough scooper, scoop out the cookies and place them on a cookie sheet with about two inches in between each cookie. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Remove and allow them to cool before eating!
