Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir to combine.
Melt the sticks of butter in the microwave for about 1 minute. Allow to cool for 5 minutes so that it's not too hot when you combine it with the ingredients.
In a separate bowl, combine the light brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Add the cooled butter. Stir to combine.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the bowl with the light brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and butter.
Once fully combined, add a cup of chopped macadamia nuts, white chocolate chips, and diced guava paste to the mixture and gently fold to combine with dough.
Scoop the cookie dough out onto a baking try and place about 2-3 inches apart. Top each cookie with the remaining ¼ cup of chopped macadamia nuts, white chocolate chips, and diced guava paste.
Place in the oven and cook for 10 minutes. Remove a little cool for about 5 minutes and enjoy!
