Preheat the oven to 350F. After, either line a 8x8 oven safe baking dish with parchment paper or spray it with pam. Set aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, add the butter and half a cup of milk chocolate chips and melt in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between increments, until all the chocolate is melted. Set aside.
In a stand mixer, add your eggs, sugar, and brown sugar. Stir on medium-high speed until the mixture is light and fluffy. About 5 minutes.
After, add the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Then add the vanilla extract. Mix until the mixture is combined.
Once the mixture is combined, with a spatula fold in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and the remaining chocolate chips. Pour the mix into your baking dish.
Place the brownie in the oven for 25 minutes, until you can stick a toothpick into the brownie and it comes out clean. Top with sea salt. Serve while still warm!
